Roles & Permissions

Who can do what in Arcova.

Common roles

These are the default roles included with every Arcova account.

Owner

Full control of your account, including billing, integrations, and user management.

Admin

Manages settings, users, and operational data across the entire account.

Operations Manager

Oversees scheduling, dispatch, and day-to-day field operations.

Scheduler

Builds and publishes the schedule, fills open shifts, and manages assignments.

Supervisor

Reviews time entries, approves hours, and handles incidents from their assigned officers.

Compliance Officer

Manages credentials, training requirements, and compliance exceptions.

Billing Admin

Generates client invoices, manages rates, and handles billing adjustments.

Officer

Clocks in and out, completes patrols, files reports, and views their own schedule.

Client Portal User

A user from one of your clients who can view their sites, schedules, and invoices.

These are the default roles and capabilities every Arcova account ships with. Permissions can be customized — you can rename roles, scope access by site or client, and create new roles for your specific operation. The matrix above describes the out-of-the-box profile, not a hard limit.
